Image Effects

I will be using a photo of Oliver Sykes. I’m not sure who took the photo, so if you know, please contact me. To see the images bigger, click on them.

First, take your image and duplicate it.

Then, click on your duplicated layer and go to Adjust >> Hue and Saturation >> Hue Map. Match your settings to mine:

After that, create a new raster. Fill it with this gradient:

Set that layer to Screen at 36% opacity.

Now, create a new raster layer. Fill it with the following gradient, and set the layer to Multiply at 18% opacity:
After you’ve done that, duplicate your base layer and drag it to the top. Then, go to Adjust >> Brightness and Contrast >> Levels. Match your settings to mine:

Set that layer to Soft Light at 100% opacity.

Then, duplicate your base layer, again, and drag it to the top. Set it to Lighten at 100% opacity.

Now, create a final new raster layer, and fill it with the colour #000000. Set it to Burn at 10%.

Now, you’re done! Just add some stellar brushes and text to you’re new image, and viola! Here’s how mine turned out:
